Auto Glass Service in Cypress, CA

Cypress sits right under the 91, and that freeway is where a lot of the damage in this city starts — heavy truck traffic moving between the Inland Empire and the ports, loose gravel, and a chip that lands somewhere around Valley View before you've even reached the 605. Add the flat commuter grid of Katella, Ball, Lincoln and Orange Avenue, and there's debris moving fast in both directions all day.

We don't have a shop in Cypress. The mobile unit runs up from Huntington Beach and works on the car where it already sits — a driveway off Denni Street, a business park lot on Katella, the student lots at Cypress College. Windshields, side and back glass, sunroof glass, rock chips, ADAS calibration done on site.

How it works

Three steps, no shop visit

1

Tell us what broke

Send the form or call. Your VIN or plate gets us the exact glass for your vehicle, including whether it carries a camera, rain sensor or heating element.

2

We check your coverage first

Before anything is scheduled we confirm what your policy covers — or give you a straight cash price — so the price you hear is the price you pay. No claim is filed until you say go.

3

We come to you

Your driveway, your office lot, your job site — wherever the vehicle is. We fit the glass, recalibrate the camera if there is one, and tell you when it's safe to drive.

Insurance

We handle the claim with your carrier

Glass coverage sits in the comprehensive part of your policy — and we do the paperwork.

Glass claims in California

Glass damage is covered under the comprehensive part of your policy, and your comprehensive deductible applies to a replacement.

Most carriers waive the deductible entirely for a chip repair, because a repair costs them a fraction of a replacement. If the damage is still repairable, that is usually the cheapest outcome for everyone.

We file the claim with your carrier and deal with them directly, so you are not on hold for an afternoon. Call us with your policy number and we will check your coverage with you before you commit to anything.

Paying cash

Not going through insurance? You get a straight price up front, before any work starts — no surprises when the job is done.

Most carriers waive the deductible on a chip repair even where a replacement would carry one — a repair costs them a fraction of new glass.

Damage smaller than a dollar bill, out of the driver’s line of sight and away from the edge, can usually still be repaired — which is quicker, cheaper, and keeps the original factory seal. Once it spreads, it is a replacement, so it is worth calling early.

General information only, not advice about your policy — coverage depends on the policy you hold, so check with your carrier. We are an independent glass shop and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any insurance company. Your choice of repair shop is yours to make.

What customers say

Pulled straight from our Google listing — and customers keep mentioning Kings.

A tinting mishap left the rear passenger window on my 2025 Mercedes GLC300 badly scratched, so I needed the glass replaced. I first spoke with Kyle at the Irvine location on a Friday, and he quickly provided a quote. The next day, Andrew from the Huntington Beach location reached out and got me scheduled for same-day service. Nelson came to my house and replaced the window in less than 30 minutes. He was professional, courteous, and efficient. The replacement glass looks perfect, and the entire process was quick and hassle-free. Between Kyle's responsiveness, Andrew's fast scheduling, and Nelson's quality work, Auto Glass Kings made the whole experience easy. Excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Called in and spoke with Andrew, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to order my glass and scheduled the appointment for the very next day. Nelson came to install my replacement rear glass, he was super professional and did an amazing job, thank you again for treating my car as if it were your own Nelson! I highly recommend Auto Glass Kings to anyone needing any repairs or replacements, they have truly earned my business and will be sharing their services with my family and friends for their needs in the future.

The team was very quick to respond to my request and set up an appointment next day. Jack and Nelson were friendly, and super helpful with getting the repair done. Price was half of what safe lite was quoting. Would 100% recommend and use them again!

Since 2018: Built Because Orange County Deserved Better

The auto glass business is full of corner-cutters. Shops that use the cheapest glass they can get away with. Mobile guys who can't calibrate ADAS so they tell you "it's fine, don't worry about it." National chains that schedule you three days out and show up in a four-hour window.

We started Auto Glass Kings in 2018 because Orange County deserved better than that. Family-owned and locally run — same crew, same standards, every job.

Glass Is What We Do

Not transmissions, not oil changes, not "we also do windshields if you want." Seven services. Every one of them done right the first time, calibrated where it needs to be, warrantied for as long as you own the car.

We work on the cars other shops won't touch — Land Rover, Bentley, Tesla, classics. Tesla Model Y rain sensors, Land Rover heated wiper park areas, BMW HUD displays — we've done all of it. Many times.

And we do the calibration ourselves. Most OC mobile shops can't. We bring the equipment to your driveway and finish what we started.

Glass Is What We Do

Mobile Is the Whole Point

You crack it, we replace it — at your driveway, your office, your kid's practice. Open at 5 AM seven days a week so a broken windshield doesn't wreck your morning.

From the cliffs of Laguna Beach to the gated streets of Coto de Caza, our trucks roll out of Huntington Beach every morning to handle glass anywhere in the county. Most jobs wrap in 60 to 90 minutes including ADAS calibration.

We Stand Behind It

We answer the phone. Real person, every call, from 5 AM to 7 PM. You'd be shocked how rare that is.

Lifetime warranty isn't marketing copy. We've gone back to seven-year-old installs to fix things. That's the deal.

Questions

Frequently asked

What's a windshield replacement actually going to cost me?

Honest answer: it depends on the car. A 2015 Civic is around $300-$400 out of pocket. A 2024 Tesla Model 3 with heating elements and rain sensor can hit $1,200. A Mercedes S-Class or Range Rover with HUD glass can run higher. Here's the good news — if you have comprehensive insurance, most OC drivers pay $0 or just their deductible. Call us with your year/make/model and your insurance, and we'll tell you exactly what you'll owe before we lift a tool.

When can I drive after you replace my windshield?

One hour. That's the urethane's safe-drive-away time. We finish the job, write the start time on your invoice, and one hour later you're cleared to drive. We'll ask you to avoid running through a car wash, slamming doors, or peeling off retention tape for the first 24-48 hours — that lets the seal fully cure. After that, you're good for the life of the car.

Is the mobile service really free?

Yes. Anywhere in Orange County. No fuel surcharge, no "mobile fee," no fine print. The price we quote is the price you pay. The only reason mobile would cost extra is if you're outside OC and we have to drive to LA or Riverside County — and we'll always tell you that upfront.

My car has lane-keep and adaptive cruise. Do I need ADAS calibration?

Almost certainly yes — and it's not optional. The forward-facing camera behind your windshield is what powers all those safety systems. When we replace the glass, the camera moves microscopically and has to be recalibrated to factory spec, or those systems can read the road wrong. Skipping it isn't just dangerous, it can void your manufacturer warranty and even create liability issues if you're in an accident. We do it in-house, in the same visit. No second trip to the dealership.

Will using my insurance raise my rates?

In California, comprehensive glass claims typically don't raise your rates. Comprehensive covers things outside your control — rocks, theft, weather — and insurers don't penalize you for them the way they do at-fault claims. That said, every policy is different. We'll check yours before you commit, and if you'd rather just pay cash to be safe, we'll quote that too. No pressure either way.

Will filing a glass claim raise my rates?

Glass damage is handled under the comprehensive part of your policy, not collision or liability, and comprehensive claims are generally treated differently from an at-fault accident. Every carrier and policy is different, though, so your carrier is the one who can confirm it for yours. Either way, nothing is filed until you tell us to.

Should I use insurance or just pay cash?

It comes down to two numbers: your comprehensive deductible and the price of the glass. If your deductible is $250 and the replacement is $550, claiming saves you $300. If your deductible is $500 and the glass is $420, paying directly is cheaper — and there is no claim on your record. We will price it both ways before you decide.

Can my windshield be repaired instead of replaced?

Often, yes. Damage smaller than a dollar bill, outside the driver’s line of sight and away from the edge of the glass can usually be repaired rather than replaced. A repair is quicker, costs less, and keeps the original factory seal. Send a photo with your quote and we will tell you straight — including when it is the smaller job.

Does my car need a camera recalibration?

If there is a camera mounted behind your windshield — lane keeping, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise — the manufacturer generally requires recalibration after the glass is replaced, so the system aims where it is supposed to. Your VIN tells us whether yours has one, and if it does we include it in the quote up front rather than after the job.
